General information about this Site

MODEL CARS OF THE WORLD specialises in die cast scale models for Collectors.
The web site is updated daily and lists current and obsolete models from a wide range of manufacturers.
All models listed are in stock.

ORDERING

For your security, this site is SSL secured 128 bit encrypted.

If you prefer not to use the shopping cart, orders can be done by email, fax, letter or phone. Major Credit Cards accepted - minimum order $A25.

Parcels are packed every Thursday and sent by Australia Post each Friday.

If a model received is not what you expected, please email the details within 7 days. We can then work out with you the return of the model for credit or replacement.

CONFIRMATION OF ORDERS

All internet orders will be confirmed by email, so if you have not been contacted within 3 working days, please get in touch with us again.

Please allow 7 - 10 days for overseas delivery - we send parcels by Air through Australia Post.

SHOP CUSTOMERS

When visiting the shop and enquiring about Internet stock, please note that as some of the stock listed on the Web site is not on display in the shop, but in boxes in the storeroom, it could take some time to locate the product you are interested in so
please give us 2 days notice so we can have them ready for you.

HISTORY OF MODEL CARS OF THE WORLD

Over 50 years ago I started collecting model cars and still have all the model cars and lead farm animals I purchased as a boy - plus a few more!!
Buying and selling model cars has been an enjoyable business for the past 30 years.

Special thanks to my lovely wife Hilary, who has been a great help to me in the business. We have been happily married for 40 years.
